The interior of Rodos is approached easily by the coastal beaches and includes the parts: Pastida, Kalithies, Psinthos, Eleousa, Prophet Elias, where the homonymous Byzantine monastery is found, Embonas,which is the highest village of the island at an altitude of 825 meters, Laerma and Apollakia, where there is the characteristic barrier launched by Italians and recently completed.
